Kinga Kosmala holds a PhD in Polish Literature from the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Chicago. She works as the Lecturer in Polish at her alma mater. She was born in Poland but moved to the United States almost 20 years ago and has called Chicago her home since then. She is the author of a book titled "Ryszard Kapuściński: Reportage and Ethics or Fading Tyranny of the Narrative," which will be published by Peter Lang International Academic Publishers in Frankfurt am Mein in the summer/fall of 2012.
