The University of Chicago has an existing arrangement with the Associated Colleges of the Midwest; other study abroad credits may also be transferable. Please contact the Undergraduate Advisor for further information.

Summer study abroad for any of the department's languages may be funded through the FLAG grants or Travelling Scholar Fellowships, administered by the College. The department also sponsors annual competitive grants for language study in the Czech Republic or Slovakia made possible by the Procházka Funds. In 2002, the Slavic Department funded two summer study trips by University of Chicago students, one undergraduate and one graduate student, to the Czech Republic.
