Biography
Erik Houle is an Associate Senior Professor of Instruction of Russian, Polish, and Ukrainian, and Director of the Slavic Language Program at the University of Chicago. He earned his Ph.D. in Slavic Linguistics from the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Chicago in 2013. His academic interests include historical and comparative Slavic morphology and syntax, language contact, language and culture, foreign language pedagogy, second language acquisition, Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, and Slavic Linguistics.
